Snatched Up By A Bad Boy 2 Page 6

“Merci,” I called her name and she slowly turned her head and looked at me.

“Ain’t she your friend? Just call her,” I said.

“Used to be, she isn’t talking to me right now,” she answered, sounding all sad and shit.

“Well make-up. She needs you right now,” I let her know.

I wasn’t going to tell her nothing more because it wasn’t my place. Yes, Sawyer had laced me up about everything that was going on and I thought Merci knew. I never knew that she and Brynlee had fallen out like this.

Getting up, I turned and kissed Merci on the lips while she was texting away on her phone. I went and finished getting packed, since I was disturbed by Zella’s bullshit ass text.

  Brynlee

“Baby, do you have to leave?” I pouted as I laid across Sawyer’s big ass bed, wrapped in his sheets as I watched his fine ass get dressed to leave.

I had been back to Texas for a week now and I didn’t miss New York one bit. I didn’t miss the terrible shit that had happened to me at all, and Sawyer had done such a good job making sure that I was good and wasn’t missing out on anything. I didn’t get a new car; instead, I just drove one of the ones he had tucked away in his garage. Granted, I could have driven my old one but his was way nicer.

I still hadn’t made my mind up whether I wanted to move with him or stay at home with my parents until I was able to get back on my feet.

“I mean, you are more than welcome to come.” He looked at me through the mirror that was mounted on his wall.

“No, all y’all boys and just me. I’ll pass. I’ll just take this weekend to do a little shopping. Do job applications again and spend some time with my parents,” I stated as I got out of bed, with the sheet still wrapped around my body, and walked over to where Sawyer stood.

I was standing behind him as I leaned my head against his back and wrapped my arms around him. I swear, being around him had me thinking less about the fucked up shit that Troy had done to me. I could only imagine how depressed I would be if I didn’t have him coming to my rescue.

“I’m forever grateful for you.” I rubbed my hands up and down his chest.

Sawyer turned around, unwrapped the sheet from around me and let it hit the floor. He cuffed my ass with his firm hands and kissed me.

“You know I’m about to change yo’ life, right?” he asked as caressed my ass.

I blushed and buried my head into his shoulder. If he was going to change my life, I was willing to accept all good shit only.

“I’m for real Brynlee. You’ll see.” He smacked me on the ass and then walked off towards the bathroom.

I stood in front of the mirror naked. I began to turn from side to side, looking at my belly. In my mind I felt like something was off with me. I had been feeling tired and bloated. The crazy thing was, my period was so irregular due to the miscarriages that I had. One month I would get two periods in the same month then the next I wouldn’t see one at all. I hated that my body was like this.

Placing my hand on my stomach, I wondered how things would be if I was pregnant. But what if it wasn’t Sawyer’s baby? I would fucking die.

That right there scared the fuck out of me. I swear I would then think that God was playing a vicious joke on me, if I was pregnant and it was Troy’s child and what if by a miracle, I made it full term.

Lord, I thought as I removed my hand from my stomach and went and had a seat on the bed. This was one time I wouldn’t want to be pregnant.

“You good? It’s getting close to time for me to head out. Are you staying the night here or at your parents’?” he walked over to the bed and grabbed his black bag that had his clothes inside.

“Most likely my parents. I can’t see myself staying in this big ass house by myself with just my damn thoughts. I’ll drive myself crazy.” I looked towards him and he was holding his bag with one hand, while texting with his other.

“Cool. Well, I’m out. I’ll call you when I have time. You know I’ll be busy and shit,” he let me know.

I got up from the bed, made my way over to him, and stood up on my tip toes, wrapping my arms around his neck.

“Ok baby. You better be on your best behavior.” I giggled as I placed a peck onto his juicy, pink, soft lips.

“I’m always on my best behavior. You just don’t up and move back to New York while I’m gone,” he shot, which hit me hard.

Like damn, was that how he felt? I knew it was fucked up that I had done that the last time, but this time was different. I didn’t want Troy and I was pretty sure his ass wasn’t getting out no time soon, unless his baby mama bonded him out, but that was beside the point. I hated that Sawyer had thrown that in my face.

Slowly easing my arms from around his neck, I backed away a little. “Is that what you think I’ll do again?”

“I mean, I don’t know. I didn’t expect you to leave as quick as you did the last time. I would hope that you learned your lesson and will finally let a real nigga change ya life but if you did go back, I’m not chasing you. And there will be no other chance with the two of us other than the one you got right now,” he let me know as he showed no expression at all.

“I’m not leaving Sawyer. I’m here to stay. I promise,” I expressed as my eyes began to burn from the tears that were building up.

I didn’t know why, but this conversation was making me so emotional. I mean, I figured me leaving did bother him, but I guess I never knew how much.

“Trust, that’s the least of my worries.” He winked at me and kissed me on the forehead.

“Oh, and go take a pregnancy test,” he ordered as he left out of the door.

Well damn, was that how he was going to leave me? Telling me to go take a damn pregnancy test. As much as I prayed for it to happen again, that was one thing I didn’t know if I wanted right now.

Sighing, I went and took a shower. I was going to get dressed and head out. I was not about to sit up in this house all day and let my own thoughts eat me alive.

Sawyer was going to be gone all weekend and I was driving his nice ass Range Rover because he and the boys took one of those Mercedes Benz travel vans so that they all could fit them and their shit inside. Also, none of them wanted to drive, so he hired a driver.

Wanting to wash his car, I stopped at this car wash that was in my hood, a little down the street from my parents’ house. It was one of those self-car washes, where you had to wash the car yourself.

I didn’t mind doing it myself because it wasn’t like the car was just filthy. My ass just wanted it to be squeaky clean so that I could stunt.

I pulled into the car wash and decided that I would vacuum out the car first then wash it. Once I parked, I grabbed my purse and dug inside for a few dollars so that I could get some coins from the machine.

After seeing that I had no dollar bills, I grabbed the five-dollar bill and got out of the car. As I made my way across to the machine, the sound of loud music could be heard getting closer and closer.

That was that H-town shit. Boys around here loved to have beat in their trucks and swanging in the middle of the road.

Finding myself nodding my head to the beat of the music, I placed the five-dollar bill into the machine. It began to spit out the tokens that I would need to vacuum my car.

With the tokens in my hand, I began to walk back over to the car, when a blue Buick with its music still sky high, began to swang crazily in my direction.

I hated that stupid ass shit, especially when they were doing it to show off or when they would do it and hold up traffic. Damn near causing wrecks and shit.

Stopping because I didn’t want to get hit or anything, I placed my hand on my hip as I mugged the car and the person in it.

Wow, I mouthed, seeing that it was ol’ dude that Sawyer had knocked out. He was in a blue Buick with those stupid ass rims that poked out. His lip was curled up as he whipped his steering wheel with one hand.

On the passenger side of the car was, of course, Sawyer
’s baby mama. Her ass looked fucking miserable. She looked like she hated that nigga and wished like hell that she could leave, but she was stuck. I knew how that was though.

Of course, he pulled right next to Sawyer’s car. It would be my luck that he tried some stupid shit while Sawyer was out of town.

Ignoring them, I went over to the car and still decided to vacuum out the car and then rinse it off. I wasn’t going to let them run me off, and if ol’ boy knew what was good for him, he wouldn’t say shit to me for his sake. Because if I told Sawyer that he said one word to me, I knew his crazy ass would cancel his shows and be back on his way here to kill his ass.

I put the tokens inside of the vacuum machine as I watched the red numbers flash on the screen, indicating how many seconds I had until it turned off.

I bent over and began to vacuum out the driver’s side of the car. Not that it was filthy or anything, I just wanted it super clean.

After doing one side, I made my way around to the passenger side of the car. That was the side they were parked on and even though I could feel the tension, I paid their asses no mind.

“Bitch, you would think as much money as Sawyer made he would have someone cleaning his cars for him, but I guess he got his own little personal maid,” I heard Kelia laugh out loud. My guess was that she was on the phone.

I knew she was trying me and for her sake, I just hoped she didn’t bring that hood chick that roamed the hallway of North Forest High out of me and plus, I had a lot of pent up emotions and anger that I would love to release.

“Yes, bitch, he got this Molly the maid ass hoe cleaning out his car,” she laughed loudly, trying to get my attention.

Throwing down the vacuum, I turned around and looked at her. “Bitch is there a problem?”

I could tell that she was shocked that I had turned around and said something to her. Her brows were raised, and her mouth was open, but nothing came out.

“Hold up bitch, because I know this hoe ain’t talking to me,” she spoke to whomever she was on the phone with.

“Who the fuck else would I be talking to? You the only one out here running their fucking mouth, because you still want to be sucking on yo’ baby daddy’s dick but look, he’s spoken for,” I let her rabbit ass know.

Her nigga bald headed ass then got out the car and approached me wearing a mug, while she stayed put on the other side of the car, ranting and raving; however, she knew to stay the fuck over there.

“Listen, don’t disrespect my girl and damn sure don’t disrespect me. Fuck that fuck ass nigga,” he seethed, letting his hot ass, funky, cigarette smelling breath assault my nostrils, causing me to back up a little.

“Now you know better than to say anything to me. You said one too many words and when I let Sawyer know how you came at me, both of you will be getting y’all asses whooped,” I spat, causing her nigga’s nose to flare and for him to ball up his fist.

“I dare you to fucking hit me.” I stood tall, with my head held high. His short ass didn’t scare me.

“Is everything good over here?” I heard Merci ask as she walked up and stood beside me, ready to have my back.

I looked at her and even though I didn’t say anything, I was thankful she showed up because I knew I was going to have to fight both of them myself, which they would have the upper hand because he was a man.

“Tell yo’ nigga he got to see me again,” he threatened, and I flicked him off and smiled big as fuck in his face.

“So he can knock yo’ bitch ass out again,” I chuckled, and he wrapped his hands around my throat which caused Merci to hit him in the head with her purse.

She then reached inside and grabbed her taser, tasering his ass. She made him buckle to his knees while screaming for her to stop.

“I know the fuck not,” Kelia yelled, rounding the car as I rubbed my hands across my throat.

“Bitch, make one more fucking move and your ass will be on the floor just like him,” Merci warned her, and she stopped.

“Sawyer is going to kill you, with yo’ bitch ass.” I kicked him dead in his shit, making him fall backwards.

Merci and I then both ran and got in our cars and I pulled off, watching Kelia run to his side.

I was pissed and I couldn’t believe that he had tried me like that. I wanted to go back and kick his and her ass, but I didn’t. That nigga was crazy and had big balls. Nevertheless, I knew someone who was going to hang him by them motherfuckers as soon as he got back from his show.

Speeding down the road, I looked in my rearview mirror to see that Merci was following behind me. We pulled up to my parents’ house, both parking our cars along the road and when we got out, there were no words that needed to be shared. We hugged each other tightly and of course, my cry baby ass was crying.

“Are you ok?” Merci asked me.

“Yes, I’ve dealt with worse,” I chuckled. “He knows he done just fucked up,” I added.

“You fucking right. Have you told Sawyer yet?” she asked.

“Nah, but I am. I was about to call him in the car, but I didn’t want to ruin his weekend but believe me, when he gets back, I will be letting him know. He is going to kill his ass.”

“Girl, he should have known better, and that ghetto ass bitch, ugh!” Merci turned her nose up and I laughed.

“Girl, that’s Sawyer’s baby mama and I just don’t understand why her.”

“Bitch…so why you back? What happened?” Merci asked me, causing my whole mood to shift.

I hated that I had to keep reliving that shit, but I knew everyone close to me was going to want to know. So, I ran her down everything that had happened from top to bottom and when I was finished, her mouth was wide open.

“Yeah, so you were right,” I let her know.

“I was never trying to be right. I was just trying to look out for my best friend.” She came close and hugged me again.

“I know. I’m sorry for snapping at you and not answering your calls,” I admitted, followed by me laughing.

“Yeah bitch, I already know you stubborn.” She rolled her eyes.

“But what are you doing tonight? My man and your man are both gone out of town so let’s have a girl’s night.”

I looked at her sideways and she began to blush, which had me wondering which one of Sawyer’s boys was she dating. I hoped like hell not Luca because his ass was a big ass hoe. I knew that from the first day that he walked up to me for Sawyer. His ass was so smooth with it and even though he was charming as fuck, he wasn’t my type. I wasn’t a fan of the whole dread thing. He was fine, but my man still looked better.

“Who…please tell me you don’t talk to Luca,” I pleaded with my eyes, and she laughed.

“Girl no, Greyson, and he is just…” she beamed at the mentioning of his name.

I knew that look all too well but I felt like Greyson was a good look for her. Granted, I didn’t know any of the boys like that but I kind of picked up on their vibes and he was the level-headed one out of the three of them.

“Yes… bitch.” I snapped my fingers and we both burst out laughing.

We continued to talk until we went into my parents’ house so that I could get me some clothes and head over to her house. I was happy that she and I had made up and I didn’t have to spend the whole weekend just bonding with my parents, because who was I kidding, that shit was pretty fucking boring.

  Kelia

  A few days later…

I was so shocked that I hadn’t heard from Sawyer yet. I just knew his little bitch had told him about what had happened at the car wash. I couldn’t lie and say I wasn’t scared, because I sure the fuck was.

I should have just left that lil’ bitch alone but the petty inside of me couldn’t. I had to fuck with her, but I didn’t think by me and her getting into it, it would have Spencer sticking his damn nose in it and making shit worse.

Fuck my life. I sighed as I looked down at my phone secretly waiting for Sawyer to call, getting in my shit. I didn
t think Spencer knew how severe this shit was. He was currently sitting on the sofa, with his legs kicked up smoking a fucking stanky ass cigarette with a beer in his hand, while watching some dumb ass show on the tv.

He was so fucking stupid though. You would think that after Sawyer knocked him out, he would have just stayed attending to his own business. But nope, he kept wanting to test the waters, and I knew Sawyer was going to eventually bury his ass. Huffing, I nervously sat there.

“The fuck you over here doing all that huffing and shit for? What’s bugging you?” he asked, picking up his beer and taking a sip from it.

“Nothing.” I tried not to seem too bothered because then he would get angry and let his insecurities have him up in here acting a fool, and I didn’t have time for that, not right now. I wasn’t in the mood to be bickering with his ass when the wrath of my baby father was way worse when you were on his bad side.

“Yeah, it better be nothing. You better not be over there huffing and puffing worried about that bitch ass baby daddy of yours.” He looked at me to see if I was going to react to his words.

I played that shit cool, rolled my eyes, poked my lips out and waved him off. “Ain’t nobody worried about Sawyer’s ass Spencer, damn.”

“That’s what yo’ mouth say.” He sat the beer down and began to puff on his cigarette and exhaled the smoke upwards.

  Bam! Bam! Bam!

The loud knocking on the door made my heart fall out of my ass. Spencer jumped up and reached under the couch for his gun.

“You expecting someone?” he asked me.

“No,” I nervously replied, because I already knew who it was.

“Open this got damn door Kelia. I know you and that bitch nigga in there,” Sawyer’s voice boomed.

Fuck, I thought as I looked at Spencer who looked at me, with the cigarette dangling from his lip.

“Go answer the door,” he ordered, and I looked at him crazily.
